Summary of qualifications

1979 - 2008                  Freelance Writer / Editor            Sydney, NSW

Writer / Editor

I aim to make my clients more than satisfied, and I’ve had many repeat clients over the past 25 years.  I always put in some extra time I don’t charge for, to make sure I’m delivering the highest quality solution.

My writing is imaginative, distinctive and always original.  I have good publishing credits for articles, web site content, short stories, plus documentary and corporate scripts & narration.

I worked my way through university grading papers for an English professor, so I have a thorough grounding in syntax and grammar.

I can think laterally and write with clarity, to create imaginative content that’s totally original, distinguished, artistic and effective.

For example, my comic strip, “Dharma The Cat – Philosophy With Fur,” has run in magazines in 28 countries, in 18 languages.  Simon & Schuster Australia published a book of these cartoons, and my original web site for this property won the 10 Best On The Web Award in the Humour category, in 1998.

I am a multi-award winning editor of TV documentaries (“War Child” for National Geographic TV won an Emmy Award in 2000).

A sample of my successful writing for commercial web sites can be viewed at: www.DharmaTheCatsAdventures.com. This client web site landed 5 professional investors and a deal with a New York literary agent.
